About Dr. Hershon

Dr. Lee Hershon, Orthodontist, N.Charleston and Mt.Pleasant, SCDr Hershon
Dr. Hershon has practiced the specialty of orthodontics in the Charleston metro area for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Rutgers College, the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has served on the faculty of Harvard, The Medical College of Virginia and the Medical University of South Carolina (Associate Clinical Professor).

Dr. Hershon, his wife, Nina, and their three children are longtime residents of Charleston and have contributed to the community in several capacities. Dr. Hershon serves on the vestry of Grace Episcopal Church, where he is also a Stephen Minister. He has served as President of the South Carolina Orthodontic Association, Director of the Southern Association of Orthodontists and Board Member of The American Academy of Dental Practice Administration.

Dr. Hershon specializes in dentofacial orthopedics (growth and development). He is also certified in the Invisalign technique (invisible braces). Dr. Hershon is the recipient of numerous honors which include: Magna Cum Laude, University of Maryland; Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Honor Society; Fellow of the American College of Dentists (FACD), Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD), Diplomate American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
